I was surprised that the back of the cover. I wanted simple case that is why I choose this color. Anyway it has a nice sturdy front cover that puts your iPad to sleep.When closed and awake whrn you open the cover. The back is a clear hard plastic I really like it

I really like this case still; it fits my iPad perfectly, the colors are beautiful, and I love the lightly tinted clear back. The case does flip over to become a stand, and the only read problem I have with this is that it does not stand it up straight.The flap still works great, it stays close and does the sleep/wake thing that the expensive Apple cases do.

Can’t say enough good things about this stylish, highly functional case. The two-position stand sturdily holds the iPad in typing or reading position. The case fits perfectly, and all cutouts perfectly match the ports and controls on the iPad. The magnets close the front panel with a comforting snap.

Nice case! The hard, tinted clear back is nice. Looks really cool and as though it will be good protection for accidental drops and scratches. Now I wish I would have monogrammed my son’s iPad, that would’ve been really cool. The tri-fold leather top is great:iPad wakes up automatically when you open this magnetic closing top, and you hear an audible click from the iPad telling you it’s gone to sleep when you close it. Plus it serves as a stand when folded.

I’m a fan of slim cases. This case is slim but can still hold my ipad up. If the case was in all black, it’d be even better! Very satisfied.
